Skilling and Mentorship Policy
Objective
In compliance with the provisions applicable to Status Holders under the Foreign Trade Policy issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the Company is committed to promoting skill development and mentorship initiatives.
Skilling Activities
The Company may undertake the following activities:
- Training of employees and workers on technical, operational, safety, and quality-related matters;
- Training on export documentation, international trade procedures, and compliance requirements;
- Internship, apprenticeship, and industrial training programmes for students and trainees;
Mentorship Activities
The Company may provide mentorship and guidance to MSMEs, startups, and aspiring exporters in areas such as:
- Export procedures and documentation;
- International trade practices and compliance;
- Quality standards and buyer requirements;
- Export marketing and business development.
Implementation
The above activities may be conducted through physical sessions, online programmes, workshops, or practical training as considered appropriate by the management.
Record Maintenance
Appropriate records of skilling and mentorship activities shall be maintained by the Company.
Display on Website
This policy shall be displayed on the Company’s website in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy.
